Silver Sonnet has it all! She is one of the sweetest and most friendly females we have ever had! This friendliness does not compromise her elegant carriage. Her long neck remains upright and she appears to be "On Stage" most of the time. Having great conformation adds to her quality and her silky fleece is the frosting on the cake. Sonnet comes from a long line of quality bloodlines, sires and dams that produce above average offspring. Although we had pretty much retired from the show ring and a breeding program by the time Sonnet was born, she undoubtedly is sure to catch the eyes of the judges in the show ring. We are really serious about retiring and decided it is such a waste to remove her from reproduction. She will be bred in June of 2012 for a May cria in 2013. She will be bred to Applegate's Silver Bullet. The offspring from these two will be large, with correct conformation, fine silky fiber, most probably in grey tones.
