JNK Marisco's Vercelli

Description

Vercelli has heavy bone and dense fiber.  He also has presence to burn with long legs.  There are many many halter, performance and fleece winners in this pedigree. Additionally, many Pet Partners registered therapy llamas too!  Vercelli has a royal pedigree of many of the industry greats.  Bonus that it is a total outcross to most of what is being bred these days.

He is by our senior woolly herdsire Marisco.  Marisco is an ALSA & ILR Halter Champion, many times Best of Show Male and Complex Registered Therapy Llama with Pet Partners (since 2006).  His offspring are all over the country and have won top honors in halter and performance.  In addition, he has many offspring that are registered for therapy work!  Marisco is a kind soul in and out of the showring.  In 2018, he won Double Best of Show and Western Region Overall Champion Male at age 17.  In 2019 he was Double Grand Champion Moderate Heavy Wool Male at age 18!  We use him to do hospice work and other therapy visits in addition to breeding.

The dam of of this woolly beauty is our JNK Huaycool's Rosabella.  Born on our farm, Rosabella is one of our most successful show, performance and therapy llamas we have produced.  She is an ALSA and ILR Halter Champion and ILR Performance Champion.  Additionally, she is a Complex Registered Therapy Llama with Pet Partners.  Rosabella is one of the sweetest and kindest llamas we own besides Marisco.  Her nickname is "The dog" because of her puppy dog friendly attitude.  Rosabella's first three full sibling sons by Marisco all won in halter at their first shows.  The first born full sibling Rustamone is an ILR Halter Champion.  This cross has won lots of fleece awards too! 

Paternal grandsire is the famous *Sipan.  Imported in 1997, he went on to become an ALSA Halter Champion, ALSA Get of Sire ROM and two time ALSA National Champion in halter.  The second time at age sixteen.  Shown and imported by Hinterland Llamas.

?Maternal grandsire is Huaycool (*Huaycho x *Heylee) who was purchased at the Hinterland dispersal in 2010 for use on our Eagle and Marisco daughters.  Huaycool was an ALSA Halter ROM & Champion and producer of numerous halter and performance winners.  He also produced many Pet Partners Registered Therapy Llamas and was so gentle a two year old could lead him. 

The maternal Grandmother to this female was our very best producing woolly female Bros Normandie.  Normandie (formerly owned by Bauernheim Llamas) created halter and performance champions every time she gave birth.  She also made three Pet Partners Complex Registered Therapy Llamas too!  Normandie was a Legend's Rammas granddaughter, which is the same line that gave us Isle Eagle (the top show llama of all time).  Her sire was an English import named *Union Jack.  Normandie's Produce of Dam and Production Pair (2 offspring from the same dam) entries won nearly every time they were entered.  Her descendants have won top honors in fleece as well.  Normandie is one of only a handful of ILR Dam of Distinction females too!

*El Fuerte is this male's full Peruvian great grandsire.  After researching, we realized that in a short production, he has produced more winning llama descendants than any other line in history.  An ALSA National Get of Sire Champion and ALSA Get of Sire Champion and ROM recipient.  One of Hinterland's most prepotent and recognized lines.

How could anybody go wrong with a pedigree this strong?  He has numerous siblings that are halter, fleece, performance winners and many registered therapy llamas!  Ascari his 2022 full brother has already won in halter and fleece at his first show at only age 5 months.  At his second show he took Grand and Reserve Grand Champion over a two time national halter winner.  He is also already a complex registered therapy llama with two different handlers.

Whomever gets Vercelli will be very lucky.  He has a lot of training already into him and even has worn a pack.  Additionally, he already backs, goes up and down stairs, self loads in a trailer and much more!  Inquire for more information on him.
